
LINCOLN CITY, OR – Lincoln City is cooking up some tasty special events for visitors and residents this spring and summer. The Culinary Center in Lincoln City presents a regular schedule of cooking classes demonstrations and events that focus on seasonally inspired ingredients with an emphasis on foods of the Pacific Northwest. Upcoming classes range from pizza making to Tuscan specialties and recipes for Oregon berries.
Classes are conducted by Culinary Center executive chef Sharon Wiest and guest chefs. Wiest presents Hands-on Pizza on June 6 and Summer Small Plates & Wines on June 12. Guest chef Justin Wills will present Japanese Cooking on June 10 and Tour of Thailand on June 18. The month of June is rounded out with a Father’s Day Dinner for Dad on June 20, Southern Italian Cooking on June 25 and Summer Sandwiches, Soups and Salads on June 27. In July, Wiest presents Crepes 101 on July 1 and Oregon Berries on July 11. Wills is back for a class on Summer Barbecue on July 9 and Southeast Asian and Indian Cookery on July 23. Guest chef Liz Lesesne presents Summer in Provence on July 18 and Summer in Tuscany on July 25.
