Repose, cast bronze sculpture by Ben Hammond

BRONZE COAST GALLERY in Cannon Beach is featuring new work by Peter Skidd, who creates sculptural pieces using acrylic on steel, taking color inspiration from his Arizona landscape, and Ben Hammond, who sculpts the human form in bronze. Several new food and drink establishments open their doors or expand their offerings, presenting their wares and fares in Cannon Beach.

The Irish Table Restaurant serves Northwest influenced seasonal fare with a bit of an Irish flair. Owners Crystal and Sean Corbin share a building with Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters at 1235 South Hemlock, which serves as a restaurant by night and a coffee house by day. Chef Crystal Corbin was previously chef at Stephanie Inn, also in Cannon Beach.

Another newcomer to Cannon Beach is Castaways Tini Tiki Hut, where you can get your fix of fare influenced by the tropics: Carribbean, Cajun/Creole and Hawaiian. Castaways Tini Tiki Hut also serves up a full menu of colorful and refreshing tropical drink creations. Castaways is located at 316 Fir Street.

Rosalba and Celestin Cisneros opened their third location of El Mariachi Loco, located at 308 Fir Street. The original location was opened in Gearhart in 2004 and a second location was opened in Manzanita in 2008. El Mariachi Loco serves traditional Mexican fare.

Lush Wine Bar offers a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere and a good selection of wines by the glass or bottle, specializing in Northwest wines. A small plates menu is also available at Lush, located at 1235 South Hemlock.

In an inventive take on multi-tasking, Cannon Beach Hardware Store & Public House is just what the name implies. An idea brought over the pond from Ireland and England, this public house is essentially a hardware store with a handful of bar stools and a handful of options for your imbibing pleasure. Popcorn and small snacks are also available. Cannon Beach Hardware Store & Public House is located at 1235 South Hemlock.
